Communication, the Key to Duplication
One of the hardest hurdles for many people to overcome in networking is the communication factor. This is something that I too struggled with when I first got into the business. It isn’t easy to talk to people that you have never met, but once you develop a mentality and a business model centered around communication, it becomes not only easy, but fun. People make the world go round and if you want to be successful in Networking, you have to talk to people. Duplication is what makes this business work.
It is your responsibility to acquire the tools necessary to succeed in whatever business venture you take on. Networking is a little different, in that once you acquire these resources, you need to share them with the people that you are affiliated with. In the normal world of business, this would be suicide, but in networking it is your life line.
People who get into this business normally do not know a thing about marketing on the Internet, or in many cases marketing in general. Those of us who have been in this business for a while realize that it is not easy and those of us who make it in this business, do so through much perseverance.
This business is not easy because it is so competitive. Real world statistics show that 95% of people involved in Network Marketing fail. In my view people fail at this business because they give up before they acquire the necessary tools to succeed. If you are going to succeed in this, you yourself have to learn about the fundamentals of this business and share these fundamentals with the people you are affiliated with. After gaining the initial knowledge, you have to continue gaining new insights because this market changes quickly. You have to evolve your mentality and adapt yourself to new ideas constantly.
Once you have a down line of several hundred people, the business will usually sustain itself, IF you have shown the people in that down line how to not only market their own businesses but also how to share their own resources with the people in their Network.
The great thing about all of the hard work and struggle is that once you put in the work, it will continue to grow your business forever. Once you learn how to communicate your opportunity with everyone you come in contact with, your business will never stop growing and as a result YOU will never stop making money.
An example of effectively communicating a sound business model is as follows;
As soon as you get a new member in one of your down lines, call that person immediately. Develop a step by step tutorial about setting up his or her business and follow it up with both email and telephone calls. Don’t overload a person with information, but take them step by step through all of the aspects of the business. I recommend a conference call or a conference room that it set up on the Internet so that you can talk to several people who are at the same level at the same time. If you have paid for resources and have the resell rights to those resources, give them away to people who you think will grow your business. It is easy to determine the people who are willing to grow your business. Those who take an interest in learning how to set up and effectively market their businesses are the ones that you want to focus on.
I don’t care if you have a down line of one hundred thousand people, if they are not reproducing your results, your revenue will eventually fade away. On the other hand if you teach just a hundred or so people how to replicate what you are doing, the multiplication of your business will be phenomenal, and its growth will never stop.
